WET LIGHT IN MIDNIGHT

Wet Light in Midnight is a 164-page full-color monograph, published by Wolf Hill Arts (New York). The book brings together works produced during their remote residency at Wolf Hill Arts (2024–2025), alongside selected earlier pieces. Through painting, sculpture, photography and drawing, the publication examines visibility, embodiment, and psychological tension within unstable conditions. The book positions painting as a site where repetition, vulnerability, and resistance are formally negotiated, offering a cohesive overview of Merci’s recent practice.
